DA-PCC at LCSF provides carabao’s milk to frontliners, families amid COVID-19 threat

The Department of Agriculture-Philippine Carabao Center at La Carlota Stock Farm (DA-PCC at LCSF) together with the San Julio Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (SJARBC) provided flavored carabao's milk to border checkpoints in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental.

Throughout the course of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Tanjay City, around 400 frontliners and 1,000 families belonging to the vulnerable sectors are expected to receive ready-to-drink milk.

DA-PCC at LCSF and SJARBC will continue to provide 330 ml of milk per individual and 1 L per family until the ECQ is lifted.

DA-PCC at LCSF Center Director Ariel Abaquita said this is the center’s symbolic salute to the men and women who are working selflessly on the front lines to fight off the COVID-19 pandemic.
