PCC centers gear up for new tools in recording data for buffaloes

More than 20 participants from the Philippine Carabao Center’s (PCC) regional network underwent a “Training on Integrating Digital Animal Weighing Scale and Radio Frequency Identification/Electronic Identification (RFID/EID) Readers for Buffaloes” last April 24-26, 2019 at the PCC National Headquarters and Gene Pool.

BODACO receives Php600k-worth of SSF grant

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) thru its Shared Service Facility (SSF) project awarded three units of Soft Ice Cream Machines to Bohol Dairy Cooperative (BODACO) during the launching activity on March 22 at Philippine Carabao Center at Ubay Stock Farm (PCC at USF), Lomangog, Ubay, Bohol.

Dr. Anselmo Roque : 1939-2019

Dr. Anselmo Santos Roque, a veteran and multi-awarded development journalist, joined the PCC on September 1, 2009 as an editorial consultant for the publications and knowledge products prepared and produced by the PCC’s Knowledge Management Division (previously known as Information and Training Division). At the onset of his work in the agency, two of his accomplishments were the revamping of the PCC Newsletter and the release of the maiden issue of PCC Balita.

4XD: A PCC execution strategy

“Planning is important but the devil is in the execution”. This saying holds true according to the experts like former PCC Executive Director Dr. Libertado Cruz and the current leaders of PCC. Setting the agency target output is easier than detailing the plans of execution to achieve specific targets that have to be acted upon by the program implementers across the country.
