Stage 2 CBIN strategic planning sa 5 probinsya sa Mindanao, isinagawa Jul 2019 CaraBalitaan CBIN ,PCC@USM,Strategic Planning workshop ,Mindanao,Stage 2 By Rodolfo Jr. Valdez Nagsagawa ang Philippine Carabao Center sa USM (PCC@USM) ng Carabao-based Business Improvement Network (CBIN) Stage 2 Strategic Planning workshop noong July 22-24, 2019 sa Davao City. Stage 2 CBIN strategic planning sa 5 probinsya sa Mindanao, isinagawa Layunin ng CBIN na isulong ang local dairy industry sa buong bansa. Ito ay sinuportahan ni Senator Cynthia Villar na siyang Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food chairperson. Ang naturang aktibidad ay nilahukan ng mahigit 60 katao mula sa pamahalaang panlalawigan at panlungsod, at mga kwalipikadong kooperatiba mula sa mga probinsya ng Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Compostela Valley, South Cotabato at North Cotabato. Pinangunahan ni Deputy Executive Director Dr. Caro Salces, kasama ang PCC@USM ang ginanap na CBIN strategic planning. Layunin ng aktibidad na ipunin ang mga ideya ng mga kalahok ukol sa Carabao Development Program, pagbabalangkas ng mga estratehiyang mapaghuhusay ang implementasyon ng Carabao-Based Enterprise Development Program, at pagtukoy sa mga gawain kaugnay ng Dairy Development Network Organizational Plan sa bawa’t probinsya. Nagkaroon ng stakeholders analysis (SWOT: Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats) upang tayain ang bawa’t ahensiyang kasama sa proyekto. Kaugnay nito ang pagbalangkas ng 3-year operational plan ng kada probinsya kung saan nakasaad ang mga partikular na aktibidad. Sa pamamagitan ng mga workshop, malinaw na naiplano ang mga susunod na hakbang sa proyekto. “Bilang nasa Provincial Planning Development Section, mas madali na naming matutukoy ang aming magiging bahagi sa ikatatagumpay ng proyekto,” ani Jennifer Bretana, South Cotabato Planning Development coordinator. Samantala, nagkaroon naman ng pagkakataon sina PCC@USM Center Director Benjamin John Basilio at CBIN Consultant Eduardo Macalandag na ikutan ang South Cotabato, North Cotabato at Davao del Sur. “Sa aming pagbisita, nakita namin ang positibong tugon at suporta ng bawa’t lokal na pamahalaan sa programa. Makikita rin natin ‘yong kasabikan ng mga kooperatiba dahil sa kanilang pagiging aktibo sa unang hakbang pa lang ng proyekto,” ani Macalandag. Layunin ng nasabing pagbisita na tukuyin ang kahandaan ng bawa’t probinsya at kooperatiba sa implementasyon ng naturang proyekto.
