Notice: Undefined variable: imgDesc in C:\laragon\www\post.php on line 114 Ang pagsasanay ay isinagawa ng Department of Agriculture-Philippine Carabao Center sa University of the Philippines-Los Baños (UPLB) sa pakikipagtulungan nito sa Municipal Agriculture Office ng Batangas na pinangungunahan nina Dr. Kit Raymund T. Baral, veterinarian, at Rhodora Agapay, municipal agriculturist. Nagkaroon ng diskusyon at aktwal na demonsrasyon sa paggawa ng burong damo at Urea Molasses Treated Rice Straw (UMTRS). Bagaso ng mais ang ginawang silage. Ito ay hinati-hati gamit ang forage chopper, inilagay sa sako, at siniksik saka siniguradong selyadong mabuti upang hindi ito mabulok o amagin. Sa UMTRS naman, pinaghalu-halo ang dayami, urea, pulot, at tubig sa drum. Kailangang iimbak o maghintay ng tatlong linggo para sa silage at apat na linggo para sa UMTRS bago ipakain ang mga ito sa kalabaw. Sa kasalukuyan, anim sa mga kalahok ang nag-aalaga ng kalabaw, nguni’t isa lamang sa mga ito ang gumagatas. Sinimulan nang gumawa ng DA-PCC sa UPLB ng video lalo’t ang mga susunod na mga pagsasanay ay gagawin nang online.
