Mga miyembro ng 2 koop sa Mindanao, nagsipagtapos ng FLS-DBP Mar 2020 CaraBalitaan ALAB-KARBAWAN,DA-PCC@MLPC,FLS-DBP,Mindanao,2 koop By Dorie Bastatas Bilang bahagi ng inisyatiba sa proyektong Accelerating Livelihood and Assets Buildup o ALAB-KARBAWAN, 70 na magkakalabaw ang isinailalim at matagumpay na napagtapos ng Department of Agriculture-Philippine Carabao Center sa Mindanao Livestock Production Complex (DA-PCC@MLPC) at ng Local Government Units (LGU) ng pagsasanay sa Farmer Livestock School on Dairy Buffalo Production (FLS-DBP) noong Marso 11 at Marso 13 sa Antipolo, Dapitan City. Notice: Undefined variable: imgDesc in C:\laragon\www\post.php on line 114 Isinagawa ang FLS-DBP upang matulungan ang Antipolo Primary Agricultural Multi-Purpose Cooperative ng Dapitan City (APA MPC) at Baclay Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BMC) sa Mecolong, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur na nakatakdang sumuong sa pag-aalaga ng kalabaw. Isinusulong sa aktibidad ang dairy carabao development sa pamamagitan ng paghahanda sa mga benepisyaryong tumanggap ng gatasang kalabaw na ipinamahagi ng kooperatiba sa ilalim ng ALAB-KARBAWAN. Tumagal ng anim na buwan o 34 linggo ang FLS-DBP. Bukod sa mga leksyon at aktuwal na pagsasagawa ng natutunan ay mayroong technology testing kung saan sinuri at sinukat ang antas ng natutunan ng bawa’t kalahok. Sa FLS-DBP hinahasa ang kakayahan sa wastong pag-aalaga ng kalabaw at pagnenegosyo na salig dito. Nakapaloob dito ang iba’t ibang pamamaraang magagamit sa pagpapaunlad ng kawan tulad ng mga teknolohiyang maaaring pagpilian na gamitin base sa pangangailangan. “Nakatitiyak ako na mapalalago ang kabuhayan sa paggagatas ng kalabaw dito sa amin dahil sa FLS-DBP,” ani Dapitan City Mayor Rosalina Jalosjos. Kabilang sa mga tinalakay sa pagsasanay ay ang tamang pakain at pagpapakain sa kalabaw, pamamahala sa kalusugan, pagpapalahi, pagtatala, produksyon at pagsusuri ng kalidad ng gatas, at produksyon ng karne. “Malaki ang pasasalamat namin sa DA-PCC dahil isa kami sa napiling lungsod na makinabang sa programa. Nakasasabik na isipin na sa hinaharap kung pag-usapan ang paggagatas, mangagaling ito sa Tukuran at Dumalinao,”ibinahagi ni Tukuran Vice Mayor Delfina Curtina. Ang nasabing pagsasanay ay sa pakikipagtulungan ng DA-PCC@MLPC at tanggapan ng Municipal Agriculture ng mga lokal na pamahalaan ng Dapitan, Tukuran at Dumalinao. Kaisa ng DA-PCC@MLPC sa pamamahala sa pagsasanay sina Dario Cuenca, Dr. Alfred Mel Dagay-loan, Genelyn Sularte, Walter Padaog, Marvin Padao, at Ceasar Acaylar na nangasiwa sa FLS-DBP sa Zamboanga del Norte. Sina Edmund Calvo Jr., Richard Hidalgo, Felipe Sabubo, Annie Rose Estañol, Rommedallo del Rama, at Gerardo Pingkian naman ang sa Zamboanga del Sur. Ang dalawang grupong nagsipagtapos ay ikalawang pangkat ng mag-aaral ng FLS-DBP sa probinsiya ng Zamboanga del Norte at unang pangkat sa Zamboanga del Sur.
