Ayon kay Dr. Elena Paraguas, carabao-based enterprise development coordinator ng DA-PCC sa CMU, nagbigay na ang DA-PCC ng paunang tatlong kalabaw kay Carangcarang noong Enero 9, 2019. Samakatuwid, pitong gatasang kalabaw na ang inaalagaan ni Carangcarang ngayon at ginagamit sa kaniyang kabuhayan. Dagdag ni Dr. Paraguas, ang pagkakatiwala ng gatasang kalabaw ay bahagi ng paghahanda para sa national school milk feeding program, na maghahatid ng mataas na pangangailangan sa lokal na produksyon ng gatasang kalabaw. Ibinahagi ni Carangcarang na siya ay lubos na naniniwala na ang negosyong pagkakalabawan ay isa sa solusyon sa kahirapan at batid niyang ito ay adisyunal na mapagkakakitaan. Sa kasalukuyan, si Carangcarang ay nakasubok nang kumita ng Php20,000 hanggang Php30,000 sa isang buwan mula sa pagbebenta ng 450 litro ng gatas. Dahil dito, natustusan niya ang pag-aaral ng kanyang mga anak, nabayaran niya ang kanyang mga pagkakautang, at bastanteng natutugunan ang kanilang pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan. “Paulit-ulit kaming nangangampanya sa pamayanan upang hikayatin ang mga magsasaka na pasiglahin ang pagkakalabawan sa ating lalawigan,” ani Engr. Merlyn Los Baños, municipal agriculturist ng Don Carlos. Dagdag pa ni Engr. Los Baños, mahalaga ang ambag ng mga maggagatas upang masugpo ang problema sa malnutrisyon at matugunan ang kakulungan ng lokal na suplay ng gatas sa kanilang bayan. Sa panayam kay Carlo Magno Abellanosa, chairman ng MUSBUDA, ang programa ng DA-PCC sa pagkakalabawan, aniya, ay isang kapaki-pakinabang na gawain na malaki ang ginhawang naidudulot hindi lamang sa kaniyang pamumuhay kundi maging sa mga kakilala niyang magsasaka. “Masuwerte ang asosasyon dahil sa nakukuha nitong tuluy-tuloy na suporta mula sa DA-PCC. Bukod sa mga serbisyong kagyat nitong ibinibigay, nakapag-ambag din ng malaki ang DA-PCC sa pagpapabuti ng kalusugan at nutrisyon ng pamayanan samantalang pinauunlad nito ang kabuhayan naming mga magsasaka,” ani Abellanosa.
