Nasumpungang gawain ng retiradong piloto sa MisOr Nov 2020 CaraBalitaan Diao’s Dairy Farm ,Rodrigo Diao,retiradong piloto sa MisOr By Jeson Candole DA-PCC sa CMU — Labing-isang gatasang kalabaw ang ipinamahagi sa Diao’s Dairy Farm na pagmamay-ari ni Rodrigo Diao, isang retiradong piloto na nais sumuong sa negosyong pagkakalabaw, sa Barangay Mat-i, Naawan, Misamis Oriental noong Disyembre 11. Labing-isang gatasang kalabaw ang ipinamahagi sa Diao’s Dairy Farm na pagmamay-ari ni Rodrigo Diao, isang retiradong piloto na nais sumuong sa negosyong pagkakalabaw, sa Barangay Mat-i, Naawan, Misamis Oriental noong Disyembre 11. Ang naturang aktibidad ay bahagi ng proyektong ALAB Karbawan para sa nasabing lalawigan mula sa sama-samang pagsisikap nina Misamis Oriental Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano bilang focal person, DA-PCC sa CMU na pinamumunuan ni center director Dr. Lowell Paraguas, Oro Integrated Cooperative (OIC) bilang conduit coop na kinatawan ni Floriano Hilot, OIC Chief Executive Officer at Doriz Calapiz, chairman ng OIC Board of Directors. “Sa wakas, nasimulan na namin ang pamamahagi rito ng mga gatasang kalabaw sa kabila ng mga pagsubok na napagdaanan namin sa pagpapatupad ng proyektong ito. Malaki rin ang pasasalamat ko sa buong suporta ng aming mga kabalikat gaya ng PLGU, LGU, koop at mga magsasaka,” ani Dr. Paraguas. Aniya pa, kumpiyansa siya na magiging supplier ng gatas ang Diao’s Dairy Farm para sa national milk feeding na ipinatutupad ng Department of Education (DepEd) at Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa lalawigang ito na sumasaklaw sa tatlong lungsod at 24 na munisipalidad. Ayon kay Gov. Emano, ang nangyaring pamamahagi ng mga gatasang kalabaw ay nagsisilbing tulay sa pagtupad ng pangarap nilang maging dairy capital ng Misamis Oriental ang munisipalidad ng Naawan. “Hindi ko palalagpasin ang pagkakataong ito na magpasalamat sa DA-PCC para sa proyektong ito na talagang makikinabang ang aking mga nasasakupan. Sa pamamagitan nito, posibleng habang kumakain sila ay may nakatabi nang isang baso ng sariwang gatas ng kalabaw,” dagdag pa ni Gov. Emano. Ipinahayag din ni Gov. Emano ang kanyang pasasalamat sa iba pang kabahagi sa proyekto gaya ng LGU-Naawan, OIC at Diao`s Family na buong-sigasig na sumusuporta sa ganitong gawain para mapaunlad at mapalakas ang industriya ng paggagatasan. Maliban sa pagkakaloob ng mga kalabaw, pinangunahan din ng DA-PCC ang pamamahagi ng tatlong 40L at dalawang 20L milk cans sa Diao`s Dairy Farm at Provincial Veterinary Office.
