Pagsusulong ng teknolohiya Nov 2020 CaraBalitaan teknolohiya,Pagsusulong By Charlene Joanino DA-PCCNHGP — Mas palalawagin pa ng DA-PCC ang pagsasapubliko ng mga teknolohiyang makapagpapa-unlad ng industriya ng paghahayupan. Pagsusulong ng teknolohiya Sa isang apat na araw na pagsasanay, mas hinasa ang abilidad ng mga mananaliksik sa pagsasagawa ng produkto at serbisyo mula sa “Research and Development (R&D) innovations” ng ahensiya. Ang aktibidad ay tinawag na Virtual Technology Commercialization Seminar and Pitch Demo na ginanap noong Nobyembre 18-20 at 27 sa DA-PCC National Headquarters sa Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija. Nagkaroon ng patimpalak sa pagitan ng mga presentors kung saan binigyang parangal ang mga “best pitches”. Nakamit ng “A2 Choice” na inilahad ni Pauleen Pineda ang 1st place at ang “Prolipig” ni Sherwin Mathias naman ang 2nd place. Ang “Blockmate” ni Victorino Mayo, Jr. at “Nyogurt” ni Teresita Baltazar ay parehong nagkamit ng 3rd place. Habang ang “QuickCare” na iprinisinta ni Dr. Gabriel Tubalinal ang nanalong “People’s Choice Award”. Ang lahat ng pitches ay sinuri base sa iba’t ibang pamantayan kabilang ang: Paglalahad (40%), Struktura (30%), at Nilalaman (30%) ng pitch. Sina Dr. Annabelle Sarabia, dating DA-PCC Research and Development Division (RDD) chief; Dr. Ester Flores, tagapamuno ng RDD Animal Breeding and Genomics Section ; at Jan Czarina Salas, Intellectual Property Specialist ang nagsilbing mga hurado. Ang iba pang kalahok ay Buro Booster Silage Inoculant ni Reynald Amido; e-RS (Enriched Rice Straw) ni Charity Castillo; Milkybun ni Joel Cabading; at Milkpops ni Jennica Salazar. Noong 2018, sinimulan ng DA-PCC, ang mga inisyatiba sa Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management nito. Ito ay bahagi ng dalawang taong proyekto sa pagitan ng ahensiya at Department of Science and Technology- Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development.
