DA-PCC kalahok sa ‘One DA Adopt a Community’ Apr 2021 CaraBalitaan Philippine Carabao Center, Department of Agriculture By Jeson Candole DA-PCC sa CMU— Bilang bahagi ng “One DA Adopt a Community” project, ang mga magsasaka ng Sitio Kalhaan, Minalwang, Claveria, Misamis Oriental ay tumanggap ng 15 na native na kalabaw noong Abril 14. One DA adopt a community Nagbigay naman ang DA-Regional Field Office X ng 275 packs na 5-in-1 binhi ng gulay at 10 bags na sariwang binhi ng mais. Ang National Food Authority Region 10 ay nagbigay ng 30 packs ng bigas, 5 kilo bawa’t pack, at 250 bote ng sariwang gatas mula sa National Dairy Authority Region 10. Gayundin, ang Philippine Coconut Authority Region 10 ay namahagi ng 150 pirasong punla ng niyog at 100 pirasong punla ng abaca mula sa Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority. Ang Bureau of Animal Industry-National Veterinary Quarantine Section ay nagbigay ng mga gamot at biologics para sa mga baka, mga sariwang prutas mula naman sa Bureau of Plant Industry-Plant Quarantine Service at mga food packs mula sa National Irrigation Administration. Nangako rin ang DA- RFO X ng Php2 milyon na halagang solar powered irrigation system (SPIS) para sa irigasyon, maiinom na tubig at agri production input ng Sitio Kalhaan. Layunin ng “One DA” na mapanatili ang suporta sa mga input agri production, livestock (kalabaw), coconut at abaca seedlings, tilapia fingerlings at feeds, aqua farm techno demo, forage planting material, extension support trainings at insurance sa mga lugar na nakikinabang sa mga pananim at produksyon ng mga hayop. “Ang ‘One DA Adopt a Community’ ay makatutulong sa amin na masimulan ang kabuhayan tungo sa maunlad, produktibo at mapayapang pamumuhay.
