Ganito ang mga panindang makikita sa ba-gong bukas na Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita farmers’ exhibit sa Milka Krem compound sa Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, ayon kay Jeraldin Torres, manager ng Milka Krem at namamahala sa naturang inis-yatiba. (Mula sa kaliwa) Nilibot nina Assistant Secretary for Strategic Communications Noel Reyes, Assistant Secretary-designate for Regulations Dr. Liza Battad, Agriculture Secretary William Dar, at DA-PCC OIC Executive Director Dr. Ronnie Domingo ang mga Kadiwa booths na nakapwesto sa Milka Krem compound ng DA-PCC. Ito ang isa sa pangunahing isinusulong ng DA upang masiguro ang food security at masuportahan ang mga magsasaka. Unang binuksan ang nasabing exhibit ng DA-PCC noong Setyembre 3 bilang suporta sa pangunahing adhikain ng DA na magkaroon ng masaganang ani at mataas na kita ang mga magsasaka at mangingisda. Inilunsad noong Setyembre 2019, ang Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita ay ipinatutupad sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa at nagsisilbing direktang ugnayan sa pagitan ng mga magsasaka, mangingisda at mamimili para sa mga produktong abot-kaya ang halaga. Pinangunahan nina Agriculture Secretary William Dar, Assistant Secretary for Strategic Communications Noel Reyes, Assistant Secretary-designate for Regulations Dr. Liza Battad, DA-PCC’s OIC Executive Director Dr. Ronnie Domingo, Deputy Executive Director for Administration and Finance Dr. Caro Salces, at Deputy Executive Director for Production and Research Dr. Claro Mingala ang pagbubukas ng Kadiwa stores sa DA-PCC. Itinayo ang 10 booths para sa exhibit kung saan walo rito ang binabantayan ng mga kooperatibang inaasistehan ng DA-PCC sa Nueva Ecija kabilang ang Eastern Primary Multipurpose Cooperative (EPMPC), Simula ng Panibagong Bukas MPC at Brotherskeeper MPC sa San Jose City; Catalanacan MPC, Licaong Agriculture Cooperative, Aling Maria Homemade Sweets sa Science City of Muñoz; Caudillo Prutas at Gulay Producers Cooperative sa Cabanatuan City; at Bongabon Dairy Cooperative sa Bongabon. Binisita ni Sec. Dar ang bawa’t booth at hinikayat ang mga magsasaka na magpatuloy sa kabila ng mga suliranin na dulot ng pandemya. Sinabi rin niya na laging nakaagapay ang gobyerno sa pamamagitan ng pagsasagawa ng mga inisyatiba nito, kagaya ng Kadiwa, upang matulungan silang direktang maibenta ang kanilang mga produkto sa mga mamimili. “Magandang oportunidad po itong Kadiwa para sa kagaya kong magsasaka at miyembro ng kooperatiba para madala namin ‘yong mga produkto namin dito sa kanayunan. Sa katunayan, bunga ng proyektong Gatas, Gulay, Karne (GGK) ng DA-PCC ang ilan sa mga produktong ibinibenta namin dito tulad ng mais, kamote, at talong,” ani Samuel Mercader, chairperson ng EPMPC. “Kaysa pumila nang pagkahaba-haba ‘yong mga customers natin doon sa palengke ay pwede na sila ritong bumili ng mga produktong gusto nila,” dagdag niya. Bukas tuwing Biyernes mula 8 a.m. hanggang 5 p.m. ang Kadiwa stalls. Kabilang sa mga produktong mabibili rito ay carabao’s milk-based at Kardeli carabao meat products, native delicacies, kalabasa, sitaw, mais, kalamansi, pipino, kamatis, papaya, kamote, native na manok, kabute, talong, okra, at iba pang mga gulay at prutas.
