Mga ahensiya sumuporta sa carabao dairy farmers Jan 2022 None VLFED, BDC, Paulyn Saturno By Paulyn Saturno Nilagdaan ngayong araw ang Memorandum of Agreement para sa Village Level Farm-Focused Enterprise Development (VLFED) na magpapasimula ng Dairy Processing Facility ng Bongabon Dairy Cooperative (BDC) sa Brgy. Pesa, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija. Memorandum of Agreement para sa Village Level Farm-Focused Enterprise Development (VLFED) na magpapasimula ng Dairy Processing Facility ng Bongabon Dairy Cooperative (BDC) sa Brgy. Pesa, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija. Tinulungan ng DA-PCC ang BDC sa pagpaparami ng gatasang kalabaw at patuloy na umaasiste sa aspetong teknikal para sa pag-aalaga sa mga ito. Sa kasalukuyan, nasa mahigit 60 kalabaw na ang naibahagi ng ahensya sa nasabing kooperatiba. Nagkaloob naman ang DAR-Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, sa pamumuno ni Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Eden B. Ponio, ng halagang PHP300,000 bilang puhunan sa kakailanganing kasangkapan sa itatayong pasilidad. Susuporta ang Department of Science and Technology, sa pamamahala ni Regional Director RFO 3 Dr. Julius Caesar V. Sicat, sa pagpoproseso ng mga dokumento para makakuha ng License to Operate (LTO) ang kooperatiba gayundin sa pagsusuri ng mga produkto para malaman ang nutrient content na ilalagay sa Nutrition Facts nito. Ang Department of Trade and Industry, sa pangunguna ni Director Brigida T. Pili, ay nagbigay ng mga materyales na kakailanganin sa pagpoproseso ng dairy products at tutulong sa pagsasapamilihan ng mga mapoprosesong produkto ng kooperatiba. Naglaan si Mayor Allan Xystus A. Gamilla ng PHP500,000 para sa pagpapatayo ng bagong Dairy Processing Facility ng kooperatiba. Ayon kay BDC Chairman Mario Dela Cruz, lubos ang kaniyang pasasalamat sa maraming taon na pagtulong ng DA-PCC sa aspetong teknikal sa pag-aalaga at pagpaparami ng kalabaw hindi lamang sa kooperatiba bagkus ay maging sa buong bayan ng Bongabon.
