Suporta ng DAR para sa mga kooperatiba ng magkakalabaw Feb 2022 CaraBalitaan PCC and DAR By Ma. Cecilia Irang & Paulyn Saturno DA-PCC NHQGP-Sa pamamagitan ng proyektong Village Level Farm-Focused Enterprise Development (VLFED) ng Provincial Agrarian Reform Office ng Department of Agrarian Reform-Nueva Ecija, napagkalooban ang Bongabon Dairy Cooperative (BDC) ng pondong Php300,000 para sa pagbili ng mga kagamitang kakailanganin sa pagpoproseso ng mga produkto at pagpapaunlad ng kanilang dairy processing center. Suporta ng DAR para sa mga kooperatiba ng magkakalabaw Nagsilbing motibasyon naman ito sa BDC para tumugon sa hamon na magproseso ng gatas at makapag-ambag sa tumataas na demand para sa national milk feeding program. Pangarap at pagkakaisa, ayon kay BDC Chairperson Mario Dela Cruz, ang pangunahing salik sa matagumpay na kooperatiba. Isa ang BDC sa mga bagong tatag na kooperatiba ng maggagatas sa Nueva Ecija na inaasistehan ng Department of Agriculture-Philippine Carabao Center (DAPCC). Labis ang pasasalamat ni Dela Cruz sa natatanggap na suporta ng kanilang kooperatiba mula sa gobyerno at ipinangakong palalaguin ang biyayang ito bilang ganti sa pagsisikap ng mga kawani na nagtulung-tulong para maisakatuparan ang proyektong ito. Dumalo sa aktibidad sina DAR Secretary Bernie F. Cruz, Undersecretary Lucius G. Malsi, Assistant Secretary Maria Celestina M. Tam, Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer Eden Ponio, at iba pang opisyales mula sa DAR-Nueva Ecija. Sumuporta rin ang iba pang kabalikat na ahensya ng DAR kabilang ang DA-PCC sa pangunguna ni OIC Executive Director Dr. Ronnie D. Domingo, at representative mula sa Department of Trade and Industry-Nueva Ecija na si Micko R. Dela Cruz, at Mayor Allan Xystus A. Gamilla. Ang nasabing proyekto ay alinsunod sa adhikain ng DA na “Masaganing Ani at Mataas na Kita” para sa mga lokal na magsasaka.
