DA-PCC installs CDP KIOSK in Mati City, Davao Oriental

The DA-PCC through its Knowledge Management Division-Learning Events Coordination Section headed by Khrizie Evert Padre together with PCC at University of Southern Mindanao (USM) Center Director Benjamin John C. Basilio and staff members installed the CDP KIOSK (Karunungan Impormasyon Oportunidad sa Kalabawan) unit at the City Agriculture Office of Mati City Local Government.

In a short turn-over program, Mati City Mayor Hon. Michelle Marie Denise N. Rabat shared her plans to continuously support the carabao dairy enterprise in the city by developing more products with carabao's milk such as ice cream, milk bars, and Karabun.

She added that the CDP KIOSK will help her promote the DA-PCC's programs as she plans to intellectually equip Mati's carapreneurs in marketing as well as disseminating information about the DA-PCC’s services.

Mati has been an active partner of DA-PCC since 2019 when they received the 10-million project under the Accelerating Livelihood and Assets Build up or ALAB-Karbawan project sponsored by the office of Senator Cynthia Villar.

Rhodora Datar, chairwoman of KARBeNA also attended the program and expressed her appreciation to the local government of Mati City and DA-PCC for their marketing support.

Mati is the fourth site to be installed with CDP KIOSK following Surallah, North Cotabato; Carigara, Leyte; and Caraga State University for information dissemination.
