Cecilia Irang & Emy Goritte Gorra DA-PCC-VSU— Inilunsad ng CoconutCarabao Development Project (CCDP) site sa Leyte Province, Carigara ang Farmer Livestock School on Dairy Buffalo Production (FLS-DBP) noong Hulyo 19 sa Macalpi Gymnatorium, Carigara, Leyte. FLS-DBP para sa CCDP-Leyte Upang mapabuti ang pamamahala ng dairy buffalo ng mga benepisyaryong magsasaka, sumailalim sila ng isa hanggang tatlong oras ng hands-on at practiceoriented na mga pagsasanay sa isang beses sa isang lingo simula Hulyo 28, 2022. Ang FLS-DBP ay pinangunahan ng mga akreditadong tagapagsanay na dating sumailalim sa Facilitators Learning Workshop noong Abril 18 hanggang Mayo 3 sa Baybay City, Leyte. Ang mga naging unang CCDP sites na nagsagawa ng FLS-DBP sa Eastern Visayas ay ang Carigara, kasama ang Maasin City (Southern Leyte), Basey (Samar), Catubig (Northern Samar), at Biliran (Biliran). Ang FLS-DBP ay bahagi ng pagpapatupad ng DAPCC ng CCDP, na isang inisyatiba ng Senate Committee on Agriculture, Food, and Agrarian Reform. “Masuwerte tayo na mayroon tayong ganitong uri ng pagsasanay para sa aming mga magsasaka,” pahayag ni Mayor Eduardo Ong Jr. Binigyang-diin din niya ang ibinigay na pagkakataon ng proyekto para sa mga magsasaka na mapataas ang sustainability ng dairy buffalo production sa munisipyo. Kilala rin ang lugar sa paggawa ng "pastillas" na mula sa gatas ng kalabaw. Inihayag din ni Macalpi Community Multipurpose Cooperative (MCMC) Chairperson Norma Uribe ang kanyang suporta sa programa.
