Kabuhayang tiyak para sa TIAC May 2023 CaraBalitaan carabalitaan By Rodolfo Jr. Valdez DA-PCC USM-“Ang gatas ng TIAC ay tiyak na masustansya at tiyak na masarap” Tiyak na Kabuhayan para sa TIAC Ito ang naging sigaw ng mga miyembro ng Tupi Integrated Agriculture Cooperative (TIAC) ng Tupi, South Cotabato sa inaasahang pagpapatayo ng dairy processing plant and marketing outlet o dairy box, pamamahagi ng processing machines at equipment at iba pang kagamitan na magpapatakbo sa nasabing pasilidad. Ang TIAC ay isa sa tatlong kooperatiba o asosyasyon na kabalikat ng DA-Philippine Carabao Center at USM (DA-PCC at USM) at Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) sa pagsusulong ng Coconut-Carabao Development Program sa South Cotabato. Ang CCDP ay isang proyektong pinondohan ng Committee on Agriculture and Food Senate Chairperson Cynthia Villar. “Ang TIAC ay mag sisilbing big brother ng Malaya Integrated Farmers Association sa Banga at Buto Small Coconut Farmers Organization sa Tampakan sa pagtataguyod ng CCDP sa South Cotabato. Sa value chain ng ng nasabing programa sa South Cotabato, ang dalawang asosyasyon ang magsisilbing production site samantalang ang TIAC naman ang naitalagang mag proseso ng dekalidad na produkto at magbebenta nito sa merkado” paglalahad ni DA-PCC at USM Center Director Benjamin John C. Basilio. Sa mensahe naman ni TIAC Manager Bonifacio V. Pales, sinabi nito ang taos-pusong pagtanggap ng kanilang kooperatiba sa proyektong pagkakalabaw na syang magpapausbong ng industriya ng gatas sa bayan ng Tupi. “Noong simula palang, nakitaan na namin ng potential ang proyektong ito. Kaya naman, kahit wala pang gatas ang mga small brother associations namin, nag proseso na kami ng mga produktong gawa sa gatas ng kalabaw. Umaangkat kami gatas mula sa mga carapreneur dito sa South Cotabato at pinoproseso namin sa aming kitchen-type processing area.” ani Chairman Pales. “Para makagawa kami ng delakidad na produkto, sumailalim kami sa mga iba’t-ibang pagsasanay na ibinigay ng PCC at USM. Ang pagbebenta namin kahit wala pa kaming produced na gatas at pasilidad ay ang nagsisilbing unang hakbang ng kooperatiba upang mapakilala ang gatas ng kalabaw,mga produkto nito tulad ng chocomilk at lacto juice sa bayan ng Tupi” dagdag ni TIAC Manager Angelita L. Claudio. Bago matapos ang taong 2023, aasahang magbubukas ang naturang dairy box na syang magbibigay sa mga lokal at turista ng produkto gawa sa gatas ng kalabaw.
