Sa tradisyunal na paraan ng pagsusuri ng pagbubuntis, maaaring umabot ng dalawa hanggang tatlong buwan bago makumpirma ang pagbubuntis ng kalabaw. Subali’t, sa tulong ng Digital Veterinary Ultrasound Scanner, agad na matutuklasan ang pagbubuntis nito, na magbibigay-daan sa agarang aksyon para sa pangangailangan ng mga hayop. Ang adopsyon ng ganitong teknolohiya ay magbibigay hindi lamang ng solusyon kundi pati na rin ng modernisasyon sa sektor ng kalabawan. Ito'y nagpapakita kung paanong ang pagsasanib ng tradisyon na pamamaraan at makabagong teknolohiya ay nagbubukas ng mas malawak na oportunidad para sa mga magkakalabaw.
