DA-PCC holds Post-Mother's Day wellness event

The Department of Agriculture-Philippine Carabao Center (DA-PCC) organized a wellness activity for PCCean mothers and mothers-to-be as appreciation for their invaluable roles both at home and in the workplace, providing them a time to take a break and relax while feeling valued for their dedication and hard work.

The activity was organized by the Human Resource Management Section (HRMS) in coordination with the agency's Gender and Development (GAD) Technical Working Group Committee in support of its GAD initiatives. It reflects the agency's commitment to creating gender inclusivity, enhancing the well-being of employees, and recognizing the contributions of women in the workforce.

"Salamat sa ganitong initiative lalo sa mga working moms na katulad natin kasi isa ito sa paraan para maramdaman natin 'yong importansya ng self-care. Deserved natin na kahit sa ilang oras ay i-prioritize natin ang sarili natin," Marivic Orge, one of the PCCean moms, said.

Pauline Gail Magdangal, another PCCean mom, expressed on behalf of her fellow mother colleagues that the initiative made them feel valued and appreciated in both their roles as mothers and employees.

Other participants also expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the activity, which celebrated the strength and nurturing sprit that DA-PCC's mothers share with their work and their families.
