Bataan opens 2nd Kadiwa ng Pangulo sa Dairy Box outlet

The DA-Philippine Carabao Center at Central Luzon State University (DA-PCC at CLSU), in partnership with the DA-Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service, led the launch of the Kadiwa ng Pangulo (KNP) sa Dairy Box on July 17, 2025, at the Tala St. Common Terminal in San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan. The initiative was held in collaboration with the Makabagong Agrikultura ng Dinalupihan Marketing Cooperative (MADMC).

In his message of support, Apolinario Salazar Jr., head of Administration and Finance of DA-PCC at CLSU, emphasized the importance of collaboration in advancing meaningful initiatives. Salazar said.

Meanwhile, Engr. Juanito Dela Cruz, Regional Technical Director for Special Concerns, expressed that the Department of Agriculture in Central Luzon, under the leadership of Dr. Eduardo Lapuz Jr., is fully committed to supporting local stakeholders.

Dr. Edwin Atabay, OIC-Deputy Executive Director of DA-PCC, speaking on behalf of Executive Director Dr. Liza G. Battad, expressed gratitude to the participants for embracing the agency’s programs. He emphasized the importance of their active involvement in the program's success. Dr. Atabay said.

Jose De Leon, MADMC chairperson expressed his deep gratitude to the DA-PCC for the buffaloes they received, emphasizing that these animals are well cared for by their members as they serve as a primary source of income for them. Jose said.

At the end of the program, a certificate of recognition was awarded to MADMC as a Kadiwa supplier, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official launch of the KNP sa Dairy Box in Dinalupihan, Bataan.
