CDP News 01-Jan-2020 DA-PCC commemorates 27th year in new perspective For more than two decades, the Department of Agriculture-Philippine Carabao Center (DA-PCC) has been implementing the Carabao Development Program (CDP) with meaningful accomplishments, and as it commemorates its 27th year of existence, current initiatives are focused on helping achieve the DA’s twin goal “Masaganang Ani at Mataas na Kita”.
CDP News 01-Jan-2020 2 cooperatives assisted by PCC@MLPC receive dairy buffaloes One hundred twenty crossbred dairy buffaloes were distributed to Antipolo, Dapitan City; Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte; Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur, and Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur in which 30 female breedable animals were dispersed in each municipality. Fifty-three farmer recipients who are member of conduit cooperatives received the animals.

CDP News 01-Jan-2020 Farmers’ dairy co-op in South Cotabato launches own dairy store The Sto. Niño Dairy Farmers Association (SANDAFA), a registered group of dairy buffalo raisers in Sto. Niño, South Cotabato, officially engaged in dairy entrepreneurship on February 28 by putting up the first ever dairy store in Region XII to market various carabao’s milk-based products of the cooperative and other smallholder farmers in nearby areas.
CDP News 01-Jan-2020 Undernourished children to benefit from milk feeding in Ilocos Norte More than 500 undernourished children have started to benefit from a milk feeding program in Ilocos Norte, which will run for 120 days from April 27 to August 25.
