DA-PCC improves 2 database management systems for digitizing carapreneurship

In line with the Department of Agriculture’s (DA’s) thrust to modernize the agri-fishery sector, the DA-Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) recently improved its two database management systems (DMS) for digitizing carapreneurship and cascading it to clients and carabao-based and enterprise development (CBED) coordinators last May 31-June 2 at Richmonde Hotel in Iloilo.

Young carapreneurs get firsthand motivation from industry champs

Second liners in their respective family’s dairy buffalo business get firsthand inspiration from practicing carapreneurs who are considered as staunch advocates of carapreneurship. This was during a learning event on “Dairy Buffalo Farming for Food Security and Sustainability” with 45 youths in attendance at the Milka Krem Hall, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija on November 11-12 and 15-16.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted on people in all walks of life. Students are not exempted and in fact are faced with some of the most challenging circumstances during lockdown. But while they are shut off from the outside for safety, their extra time post fulfillment of learning module requirements can be used for other worthy pursuits.
