Now that we have eight carabaos in our care, we are starting to reap the fruits of our labor. Initial implementation of milk feeding program shows promising outcome

The initial implementation of the milk feeding program, led by the Department of Education (DepEd) through the help of 30 assisted cooperatives of DA-Philippine Carabao Center (DA-PCC), had supplied the milk requirements of 503,955 undernourished children in 2019, which is equivalent to 26.12% of the total number of beneficiaries nationwide.

PCC bags 1st place among DA attached agencies in cash utilization

The DA-Philippine Carabao Center (DA-PCC) garnered the highest place among the nine attached agencies of the Department of Agriculture in terms of cash utilization under the 2020 General Appropriations Act, spending 99.90% of the Php437,609,880.00 Notice of Cash Allocation (NCA) for fiscal year 2020, which was recognized during the 2020 Year-End Financial Evaluation and Assessment of the Department of Agriculture (DA) last February 22-24 held via webconferencing.

Milk feeding program makes headway in Negros Island

A total of 19,895 children in the cities of La Carlota, Bago, Bacolod, Bais, and Tanjay benefited from the milk feeding program last year led by the Department of Education (DepEd) in Negros Island in tie-up with the DA-PCC at La Carlota Stock Farm (DA-PCC at LCSF).
