DA-PCC sa USF-Kinilala ang kalabaw bilang simbolo ng katatagan sa ginanap na pagdiriwang ng ika-pitong Bohol Dairy Festival sa Sandugo Festivities sa bayan ng Mabini noong Hulyo 18, 2023.
Madaling araw pa lang, gising na si Mang Fernando Dupalco. Gayak na siya para sa paggatas ng kanyang kalabaw at paghahanda sa aning gatas na kokolektahin ng dairy technician at dadalhin nito sa processing center ng kanilang kooperatiba sa Ubay, Bohol.
Binubuo ng pitong malalaki at daan-daang maliit na islang nakapalibot sa Visayan, Samar at Camotes seas , ang Visayas ay isa sa tatlong pangunahing isla ng bansa. Kilala ito sa katawagang “Central Philippines”.
Nagbago na ang gampaning papel ng kalabaw sa buhay ng mga magsasaka.
DA-PCC sa USF — Isang strategic planning workshop ang isinagawa ng DA-PCC sa Ubay Stock Farm (DA-PCC sa USF), DA-Philippine Coconut Authority (DA-PCA), Office of the Provincial Veterinarian (OPV), Local Government Unit (LGU) ng Tubigon, at Libertad Multipurpose Cooperative (LMPC) noong Nobyembre 5-7 para sa pagtatatag ng Carabao-based Business Improvement Network (CBIN) sa Tubigon. Ang nasabing aktibidad ay hudyat ng pinakabagong inisyatiba sa pagitan ng ugnayang DA-PCC at DA-PCA sa paglulunsad ng Coconut Carabao Development Project (CCDP) na kung saan isa sa mga benepisyaryo ang LMPC ng Tubigon, Bohol.
The Department of Agriculture-Philippine Carabao Center at Ubay Stock Farm (DA-PCC at USF), Department of Agriculture-Philippine Coconut Authority (DA-PCA), Office of the Provincial Veterinarian (OPV) of Bohol, Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tubigon, and the Libertad Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC) conducted a strategic planning workshop for the implementation of Carabao-based Business Improvement Network (CBIN) in Tubigon last November 5-7.
“The nutrition of a child in the first 1,000 days is very critical to mental development,” Bohol Governor Arthur Yap said in his first meeting with dairy stakeholders providing direction to the dairy industry of the province.
Despite the unprecedented effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bohol Dairy Cooperative (BODACO) still managed to open its newest outlet at San Pascual, Ubay, Bohol last June.
